Welcome to the Tay Bunkhouse located on the banks of the river Tay in Highland Perthshire. Surrounded by rivers, lochs, forests, and mountains it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind or take part in the many activities, to see and do in the area. We are only 4 miles from Pitlochry the ‘Gateway to the Highlands’, there’s something for everyone.
The Tay bunkhouse caters for group retreats, activity weekends, special occasion breaks, families, and clubs.
Tay Bunkhouse is a beautiful self-catering stone cottage with three bunkbed bedrooms sleeping up to 12 people in comfy handmade bunk beds in each room.
We have a large garden and outdoor space perfect for BBQs, dining or relaxing around the outdoor the fire with a dram. With riverside access, kayakers, canoeist, and river users are welcome to launch their boats or egress from here.

Rooms – We have three bedrooms each with locally handmade wooden bunk beds with comfy mattresses. Your bed will be freshly made up for you on arrival, all linen is provided. Our rooms sleep 6, 4 and 2 people.
Kitchen – Our fully equipped kitchen is perfect to cater for your group or special occasion. Stocked with all the kitchenware you will need. We offer an electric oven with 4 hotplates, toaster, kettle, microwave, fridge/freezer, storage space, and dishwasher.
Lounge/Dining area – The lounge has all your home comforts, including sofas, bean bags, Freeview TV, free WIFI coverage over the whole bunkhouse, dining table and benches, relax in our Scottish contemporary style lounge after a day of exploring the local area or adventure activities.
Garden – Our outdoor area is a great place to sit around the fire or enjoy a BBQ in the evening with friends. We offer a state of the art BBQ for you to use, fire pit and seating area as wells an outdoor dining table and benches.
Toilets and Showers – There are two powerful showers, and two toilets downstairs, all fitted with wash basins. Towels are not provided.
Free Parking – Space for 4 – 5 cars outside the bunkhouse. Additional parking can be found on the road through the village.
Dog-friendly – We love dogs and are happy to bring your furry friend with you. Please see out terms and conditions about dogs at the bunkhouse before booking.
